“Am I an Alien?” is the latest Polly Morris Album and the most ambitious project to date. It features twelve tracks, many of which have already become favourites after being performed live in the Folk and Festival Scene where Polly makes her musical home.  The album was recorded exclusively at Blue Room Studios by Jonathan Sweet. Recording started in 2021 and the album was completed in 2025.

The title refers to the feeling that we all have sometimes, of not quite belonging. However, the quirky songs reflect universal experiences which results in an album that has a totally inclusive and joyous feel.

Each song is written and performed by Polly Morris. However, the album also features the extraordinary talents of musicians Kate Hunter, Simon Swarbrick, Tom Hughes, Andy Brotherton, Brian Harries, Paul Thomas, Mark Patrick , Ray Russell and Leonardo MacKenzie. The diverse musicians on the album and also the increased use of background harmony have led to a fresh distinctive sound.
